For my today's card I couldn't resist playing with some floral images to create a lovely stamped background, perfect for colouring. I’ve combined images from Garden Treasure and Focus On You sets and stamped them with Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink. Then I used the Altenew Artist Markers to do a simple colouring.

To finish it, I used the Super Script Stamp Set and coordinating dies to stamp and die-cut my sentiment.

There is a bunch of fabulous stencils being released today and all are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by Thursday, July 12th for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 7/15/2018.

In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!

Today I've created two simple cards to share with you. For my first card, I used the Mega Hydrangea Stencil to create a background for the embellishments. I decided to go for a bright yellow and pink colour combo and applied Altenew inks (Buttercream, Mango Smoothie, Warm Sunshine, Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy and Coral Berry) with sponge daubers. Then I added some pink and yellow splashes of paint to the background.

love you

Next, I used a washi tape and leaves die cut from the Fantasy Floral 3d Die Set. To finish the card I added my sentiment. I used a negative die cut panel I had sitting on my desk (it was created with the Fine Alphabet Die Set) and I added the “you” die cut from the Flower Arrangement Die Set on top.

love you

For my second card I used another beautiful stencil called Feeling Dotty and I have lightly sponged it over with Frayed Leaf ink.

hello

To finish the card, I again used die cuts from the Fantasy Floral 3d Die Set and a negative die cut panel from my leftovers stash.

hello

That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is amazing Lydia Evans and I can't wait to see what she came up with today!

For today’s blog hop I’ve created three CAS cards using some beautiful stamp sets from the new release. For my first card, I used Sweetest Peas Stamp Set, which features several sweet pea flowers drawn in a beautiful dip pen and ink style.

thank you

I stamped the “Thank You” sentiment and my flowers in black and used Altenew Artist Markers to colour them in. To finish it off I added some green splashes.

thank you

To create my second card I used another beautiful set called Ditsy Print. This set features a ditsy print floral bouquet outline with layers and I used them to create a floral frame for the bold sentiment.

hello

I went for a pink and green colour combo and I love how quick and easy this card came together.

hello

On my last card, I again used the Ditsy Print set. I wanted to mimic a floral fabric print that you'd find in cottage-style homes. I stamped the outline images to create a background and used Altenew Artist Markers to colour them in.

To finish it off, I used Mega Alphabet Die and stamped my sentiment on it.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew May Release Blog Hop!

If you came here from Altenew Blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!

There are lots of fabulous products being released today, some beautiful stamp sets and dies, and all are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.

Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by Friday, May 26th for a chance to win. 6 winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 5/27/2018.

Today I've created CAS one-layered cards to share with you. All of them are very quick and easy to create.

For my first card, I stamped images from a gorgeous Botanical You Stamp Set, and decided to go for a bright, pink and green colour combo.

just for you

I used Forest Glades and Evergreen inks to stamp the first two layers and Pink Diamond and Pinkalicious for the next two layers. To finish the card I stamped “just for” to complete my sentiment and added some green splatters for more interest. I love this set, so great to create quick but beautiful cards!

just for you

For my second card I used another beautiful floral stamps from set called Bride To Be. I again chose to use the pink and green colour combination. I used here Blush and Pink Diamond ink pads for flowers and a few different shades of green: Moss, Forest Glades and Evergreen.

love you

For my sentiment I used a tiny “I love you” stamp that comes from Rustic Linen stamp set.

love you

The Rustic Linen is a set I used for my last card. It’s a great background stamp and I decided to use it to create a monochrome card. I stamped it with Starlight ink and added beautiful images from the gorgeous Floral Elements Stamp Set (I inked them with two shades of blue: Dusk and Starlight).
