Altenew March Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew March Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Svitlana's blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!

There are lots of fabulous products being released today! Stamps, dies, papers, inks and a set of acrylic blocks, and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.

To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw three lucky winners who will each receive a $50 gift certificate to their online store. Please leave a comment on the Altenew blog for a chance to win! You have until Friday March 18th to leave your comments.

In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!

To celebrate today's release, I've created two cards to share with you. For my first card, I stamped images from "Daisy" stamp set and used three shades of the Altenew green inks. Then I stamped leaves onto white scrap cardstock and fussy cut them out. I attached them to my card and popped them out for some dimension.

I’m so excited for new coordinating dies for older sets! For my second card I used “Beautiful Day” coordinating dies.

For this card I also used a new stamp called “Snowing”. It’s a great background stamp but I decided to use it in a little different manner. I stamped it in black to mimic ink splatters.

    Aga....I think "ink splatters" add a lot to a card and am delighted to learn Altenew has created a stamp for this purpose. Excellent and you leaf cards are super.

    I am loving this new release with all the gorgeous new inks and dies. Love the green daisies in the first cat=rd. Using the Snowing stamp as ink splatters is brilliant. I am always worried about not getting the splatters right. This set seems to be the answer!
