Altenew + Tombow USA collaboration blog hop
Hello everyone! Today Altenew is teaming up with Tombow USA to bring you a fun collaboration blog hop! If you came here from Cynthia Banessa’s blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Tombow USA blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!
For today’s hop I created a clean and simple card using products from both companies. I used beautiful flowers from Wild Hibiscus set and a masking technique to stamp my floral arrangement.
Next I used Tombow bright brush pens to colour the images in. I wanted to get a softer watercolour look, so I blended the colours using an acrylic block as a palette. I brushed my markers across the acrylic block several times, added a little amount of water and painted my images using a water brush.
To finish my card I added a hexagonal tag and used Majestic Bloom die set to cut the “thank you” sentiment out of black cardstock.
Giveaway:
To celebrate the collaboration blog hop, Altenew will draw two winners who will each receive a $30 gift certificate to their online store and Tombow USA will draw two winners who will each receive a $30 prize pack. Winners will be picked randomly from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop left by June 3rd and they will be announced on the Tombow USA and Altenew blogs on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Lauren Fitzmaurice!
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!
