Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew March Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Heather’s blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!
Altenew is expanding their product line and there are lots of new products being released today! Some fabulous stencils, ink sprays, coloured cardstock and envelopes are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.
To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw three lucky winners who will each receive a $50 gift certificate to their online store. Please leave a comment on the Altenew blog by Thursday, March 16th at 11:59 pm EST for a chance to win. The winners will be announced on the Altenew blog on Friday, March 17th.
In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!
For today’s blog hop I’ve created two simple cards to share with you. For my first card, I used Sketched Lines Stencil and white paint applied with a sponge dauber to create my background.
Once dry and set I used stamps from the Remember This stamp set and coordinating dies to embellish my card.
To create my second card I used another great stencil called Floral Drape. This time I used Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Lagoon, Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Dusk to create my background. First I applied the inks with a sponge dauber and then I spritzed the stencil with Frayed Leaf metallic shimmer ink spray for some lovely sparkle.
For my sentiment I used black, bold “hi” created with the Bold Alphabet die set.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Flora and I can't wait to see what she came up with today!
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the hop!
Aga
