Altenew October 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway


Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew October Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Kymona’s blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew Scrapbook Blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!

There are lots of new products being released today! New fabulous embossing powders and a new Family Scrapbook Collection kit and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.

For today’s blog hop I’ve created a simple card using Floral Fantasy Stamp Set and the new Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.

First I stamped my floral background using the following Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Sea Glass and Frayed Leaf for the first layer, Volcano Lakes for the second and Caribbean Sky for the leaves. Next I used Clear Embossing Ink for the last layers of flowers and some leaves and heat embossed them in gold embossing powder to add some texture and shine to my background. To finish my card I added a "thanks" sentiment cut out with Signature Words Die Set.
