Altenew November 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew November Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Hussena's blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew Scrapbook Blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!

There are some fabulous stamps and dies being released today, and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.

To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw six lucky winners who will each receive a $50 gift certificate to their online store. For today’s blog hop I’ve created two cards to share with you. For my first card, I combined a new great December to Remember Stamp Set, which contains some sweet and timeless messages, with two different sets: Garden Treasure and Happy Holidays.

First I stamped my sentiment and a floral design using two different shades of blue: Dusk and Desert Night. Then I added little elements from the Happy Holidays stamp set.

To create my second card I used a great stamp set to commemorate the year 2018, it would make the perfect addition for any scrapbook layouts, journals and New Year's cards!

I started by stamping it in the centre of my card, and then I created my background using a floral image from the Charmed Stamp Set. To finish my card I used markers to colour in the numbers and added some black ink splatters.
