For today’s blog hop, I created two simple cards using products from the April 2025 Release collection. Each one brings to mind the cover of an old fairytale book, softly faded, delicately illustrated, and filled with whimsical charm.
For my first card, I used the Flowering Hedge Bundle, which includes the Flowering Hedge Registration Press Plate Set and the Flowering Hedge Die Set.

To create a soft letterpress effect, I inked the plates with Green Opal, Mossy Meadow, and Mauve Fresh Dye Inks. I then die cut the floral frame and layered it over Crafty Necessities: Moss Cardstock for a rich, earthy backdrop.

To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the set, paired with Hot Foil Roll – Champagne (Mirror) for a beautiful, shiny touch.

For my second card, I used Floral Serenade Press Plate, a delicate pattern of flowers and leaves gently intertwining, creating a soft, whimsical design. I inked the plate with Dark Night Fresh Dye Ink and pressed the pattern onto Crafty Necessities: Nimbus Cardstock to create a beautiful background.

To finish it off, I used Mini Delight: Fabulous Flowers Stamp & Die Set. I die cut an elegant scalloped oval doily out of Nimbus Cardstock and added a fussy cut little flower stamped with Cloudy Sky, Navy, Mossy Meadow and Green Opal Fresh Dye Inks.
It adds just the right hint of colour and charm to complete the soft, storybook feel of the card.
