Now onto my card. For today’s hop I created a stamped background using beautiful Vintage Flowers set. To stamp my pattern I used Mini MISTI and I love how this tool makes stamping quick and easy! Especially when it comes to using multi-layer stamps it really helps to line images up easily!

I used here two shades of green (Evergreen and Forest Glades) and to finish my card, I stamped sentiment from Sohcahtoa set on a circle die cut. I again used MISTI tool to repeat a part of the pattern on the die cut panel and then popped it up with foam tape.

Altenew + Tombow USA collaboration blog hop

Hello everyone! Today Altenew is teaming up with Tombow USA to bring you a fun collaboration blog hop! If you came here from Cynthia Banessa’s blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Tombow USA blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!

For today’s hop I created a clean and simple card using products from both companies. I used beautiful flowers from Wild Hibiscus set and a masking technique to stamp my floral arrangement.

Next I used Tombow bright brush pens to colour the images in. I wanted to get a softer watercolour look, so I blended the colours using an acrylic block as a palette. I brushed my markers across the acrylic block several times, added a little amount of water and painted my images using a water brush.

To finish my card I added a hexagonal tag and used Majestic Bloom die set to cut the “thank you” sentiment out of black cardstock.

Altenew May Release Blog Hop

Now onto my projects. Today, I made two cards using brand new and gorgeous floral sets. As you have probably noticed, I love floral stamps, so I was really happy and excited when I first saw the new release!

For my first card, I stamped images from Majestic Bloom set in two shades of green (Evergreen and Forest Glades inks) to create a floral wreath. Then, I drew a few little flowers with a pink marker and added green splatters here and there. To finish my card, I used the new coordinating die set and I cut the “thank you” sentiment out of black cardstock.

For my second card I used set called Spring Daisy.

I stamped my floral arrangement in black and then I used solid stamps to add some colour to it. I used here Lavender Fields ink for flowers and two greens (Evergreen and Frayed Leaf) for leaves. For the sentiment I used the Thinking of You stamp set and to finish my card I added black splatters for a bit more interest.

So now, onto my card! For today's Blog Hop I created a simple, one layer card using Painted Flowers set from Altenew very first release! Fabulous layering flowers stamps from Altenew are my favourite and this set is no exception!

I stamped the outline images in black and then used Altenew inks to stamp the layers. Evergreen and Forest Glades for leaves and Lavender Fields along with Midnight Violet for my flowers. I also added some black splatters for a bit more interest. The sentiment is from Sohcahtoa set.

I stamped this beautiful floral branch in dark green and used watercolours to colour it in. I also added green splatters for a bit more interest.
