Altenew & 25 days of Christmas Tags
Hello Everyone! Altenew is participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event and the Altenew DT has some beautiful tags to share with you today.
I’m sharing two similar tags that I made using non-traditional colours.
I started by creating my tags out of white cardstock and stamped my backgrounds using the Tiny Stars and Snowing background stamps. Then I used a pice of tissue paper and used the gold glitter tape to attach it to the tags. Next, I used the Floral shadow stamp and die set along with purple inks to create a main focal point of my tags. I inked the stamp with all shades of purple inks and stamped it a few times for a darker impression. To finish the tags I used a “Joy” word that was cut out of black cardstock.
There are lots of guests, inspiration and giveaways every day for the entire event, so make sure you check out Tracy's blog to get more details.
Thank you for stopping by today and have a lovely Sunday!

For today’s blog hop I created a one layer card using images from a set called Happy Dreams.

For today’s hop I would like to share with you a gift-wrapping project. Making your own packaging is really fun and easy, and it gives a wonderful personal touch to any gift. I used a small background stamp called Snowing to create my own stamped wrapping paper. I stamped it using black ink onto white paper. Then I used a paper string to tie my wrapped gift.
Next I used stamps and dies from the Beautiful Day Set to decorate my present. I stamped the images using shades of green and black ink as I wanted to keep everything in monochromatic colours.
To finish my project I added two tags I created using the Stitched Labels 1 Dies from Pretty Pink Posh. I cut them out of white and black cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Pine Tree Stamp Set.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Heather Hoffman!
Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Altenew July Release Blog Hop
EDIT: This giveaway is now closed and you can find the winner HERE!
Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew July Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Amy Gray's blog, then you are on the right track. If not, head back over to the Altenew blog to begin the hop.
There are 16 new fabulous stamp sets, paper and washi tape being released today and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.
To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw three lucky winners who will each receive a $50 gift certificate to their online store. Just leave a comment on the Altenew Blog, by Friday, August 5, 11:59pm EST for a chance to win. The winners will be announced on Saturday, August 6 on the Altenew blog.
In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!
Now onto my card. For today's hop I decided to play with a new stamp set called: Remember This. It’s another gorgeous floral set to add to the collection and I’ve been itching to ink it up since I got it!
I used some of the outline images to create a simple floral frame in the centre of my card. Then I used solid stamps to add some colour using two and three step images. I used here the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks: Jet Black, Evergreen, Forest Glades, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry and Warm Sunshine. I also used Copic markers to colour the small flower stamp.
To finish my card, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on a circle piece of black cardstock.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Eunyoung Lee.
Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the hop!
