For you

Hooray, it's Friday! Can you believe that it's last day of September? Kind of scary how fast time flies. The good thing is that the weather for the last few days has been fabulous! We are enjoying a real heat wave – something very unusual for the time of year and the area!

Anyhow I’m just popping by to quickly share my last card I made with Jane’s Doodles stamps from Garden Friends and Party Time set:

for you
for you

It is based on the latest Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World:

I was mainly inspired by the lovely colour combo, the banner and the patterns.

Thank you for stopping by today and thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes and comments left on my last post! It means a lot to me!

Papertrey September Blog Hop Challenge

Happy Sunday! It's another rainy day outside my window, but today is my birthday, and I’m not bothered in the slightest. In fact, I haven’t felt this good in a very long time! *wink*

The 25th also means its time for another PaperTrey Ink Blog Hop! Here is the inspirational photo this month:

And here’s my card:

I decided to focus on the stripes and the colours, such a gorgeous combo!  The sentiment stamp comes from Blooming Button Bits set and the little ornament stamp from Guide Lines set.

Be sure to check out Nichole's blog for a full list of blog hop links!  I can't wait to see all the inspirational creations!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week!

volume on high!

Hi everyone!  Today I’m popping in to share a Sweet Stamp Shop card made with the “Old School Rock” set:

Aren’t these stamps cool?! With the dreary weather outside my window I decided to take out my green inks and mists and once again I used the colour combo from the current Embellish Magazine challenge to create something bright:

volume

I used a watercolour technique to colour the cassette image and also splattered some green mist on the background, then added some rhinestones to give it a little bling.

That’s it for me today, but before I go…

Have you heard about Operation Julie’s Smile? If not make sure to check out the Sweet Stamp Shop blog post HERE for all deets!

adorable you

Hello everyone! How is your weekend going so far?  I squeezed in some crafty time today and decided to play along with the current Embellish Challenge! The challenge is to use mist or paint. I decided to combine this inspirational colour combo with the sketch over on the new Basic Grey blog:

And here's what I came up with:

adorable you
adorable you

I misted my background and I also used glimmer mist to colour the lace. The flower and sentiment are digi images from Basic Grey. The flower image was treated with glossy accents.

That's it for me today! I'm off for a night on the town! I’m going to see Adele’s concert tonight and I'm so excited!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Eat CAKE

I hope your week has started off great! Today, I’m popping in with a card made last night using the new released stamps from Jane’s Doodles. I love the versatility of these images! They can be used in so many different ways and styles. I've been playing with “row of cakes” image from the Party Time set and some blue mist spray and here’s what I came up with:

I've even made my own icing! The recipe is dead easy: glossy accents and liquid pearls :)

One Little sweet Scoop

Hello again! This is my second post today so if you are here for the Jane's Doodles Blog Hop, please scroll down a bit or click HERE. Thanks!

I’m back with one little scoop card made with stamps from Cool Scoop set by Sweet Stamp Shop.

Sweet crunchy waffle ice cream cone was first thing that came to my mind when I saw this cute ice cream stamp. I embossed a kraft cardstock using my scoring board and created my own “waffle background”. Then I shaded the stamped image with pink and brown and covered with glossy accent which gives it this yummy look:

That’s it. I don’t know how about you but I’m off to get some ice cream now!

Thank you for visiting today. Have a great weekend!

Jane is releasing three new stamp sets this month and let me tell you, they are so cute! What I love most about them is that they can be used so many ways and for so many styles!

To celebrate the new release we are giving away all three sets to one lucky person! Who wants to win? All you need to do is visit and comment on each blog as you go. A winner will be chosen at random and announced at Jane's Doodles blog.

Ok, let's get to the cards I made to share today! For my first card I combined images from two sets: the Party Time and Big Sentiments:

Second is a card I made using stamps from the Party Time set. This time I used the banner stamp as a border strip:

And for my last card I used this beautiful peony image and a sentiment from the Pretty Peonies set, just perfect for an elegant birthday card:

I Miss You

I have never used felt for my craft projects before. I have been admiring felt crafts for quite a while but I didn’t try it myself. After reading this post by Cath over at Moxie Fab World I decided to take up the challenge and give it a try and I'm sold!
Here is my first attempt at using felt:

The sentiment stamp comes from Scootin' By set by Sweet Stamp Shop.
