For today’s blog hop I created a quick and simple card using the embossing folder, a floral image from the Elegant Motifs Stamp Set and a coordinating die.

dear friend

I started by using 3D embossing folder to create my background. Then I stamped a floral image and used markers from Rock Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set D and Tropical Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set E to colour it in. My last step was to die cut it and add the sentiment. I attached all together with a circle frame.

For today’s blog hop I used the Build-A-Flower: Honeysuckle Layering Stamp & Die Set to create my clean and simple card. This stamp set features a beautiful honeysuckle flower and accompanying foliage to beautify your handmade projects. The flower includes an outline layer and four colouring layers. The set also has two individual leaves and a pair of leaves coupled with a lovely bud. All layers have been labelled for ease of identification and use.

I stamped outline images with black ink and used pink colours from Spring Bouquet Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set for my flower. For the green parts I used colours from Tropical Forest Crisp Dye Ink Oval Set.

you are the sweetest

To finish my card off I used black pen to add some tiny dots to the background and stamped my sentiment.
