Artists' Gouache Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

For today’s blog hop I created Christmas card using the newly released Artists' Gouache Set, it features lovingly and carefully selected the twelve rich & vibrant colours. These colours are perfectly coordinate with signature Altenew colour families. For my today’s card I used watercolour paper and Prussian Blue paint (PB28, PW24) to create my background. 

Next, I used a stamp from Majestic Mistletoe Stamp Set and a light coloured ink for a very light impression, to create a draft version of the background.

My last step was to paint the stamped images with different colours from the Artists' Gouache Set. I used Lagoon Green (PG36, PG7, PW24), Pistachio Green (PY5, PY3, PB28, PW6) and Primary Cyan (PB15:3, PW6). To finish the card I coloured berries with a chalk pen and added my sentiment.

For today’s blog hop I created a quick and simple card using the newly released Pine Forest Simple Colouring Stencil Set (3 in 1). This set features a watercoloured silhouette pine tree forest that can help to create a refreshing yet brilliant background for your projects!

I started with some ripped piece of scrap paper and used this as a mask and ink blended Rock Collection Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle to create my mountains. Next, I used green shades and black ink from Green Fields Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle to stencil my pine forest background. To finish my card I added a sentiment from Sentiments & Quotes Stamp Set.

For my today’s card I used beautiful Craft-A-Flower: Sulfur Cosmos. This beautiful stamp set helps to create beautiful realistic sulfur cosmos flowers. Layering these flowers is super easy and fun! Simply follow the keyhole or the arrow guide, and layer the petals create life-like flowers! The separate elements perfectly fit together to compose a blooming cosmos flower. It's just like putting together a puzzle! This die set will also give you three leaves of various sizes to help you complete your floral arrangement.

I die cut my elements and coloured them with blending brushes and pink shades from Cherry Blossom Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle along with green colours from Tropical Forest Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle.

For my today’s card I used the beautiful Build-A-Garden: Pristine Peonies. This stamp set features two large peony clusters that will add a stunning focal point to your paper crafting projects. Each cluster showcases delicate peonies surrounded by leaves and buds. The large scale of these flowers will make them a delight to colour. This beautiful set contains 14 stamps, a layering stencil set containing 6 stencils which coordinate with the stamp set, embossing folder and one Mini Blending Brush for ink blending.

I stamped my flowers with Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink onto my card and used coordinating stencils to colour the images.

For today’s blog hop I created a very CAS card using the newly released Mistletoe Wreath Stamp Set and coordinating die. I stamped my images with Obsidian Pigment Ink and used markers from Artist Alcohol Markers Tropical Forest Set to colour the leaves in. For my berries I used embossing paste for a nice texture.

To finish my card I used Garden Harmony 3D Embossing Folder and white cardstock for the background to create white winter feel and look.
