Altenew July 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew July Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Marika’s blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!
There are some new fabulous stamps, dies and inks being released today and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.
To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw FIVE lucky winners who will each receive a $50 gift certificate to their online store. Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog or/and Scrapbook Blog by Thursday, July 27th at 11:59 pm EDT for a chance to win. The winners will be announced on the Altenew Card/Scrapbook blogs on Sunday, July 30th.
In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!
For today’s blog hop I’ve created three simple one-layer cards using the new stamp sets. For my first card, I used a beautiful Floral Fantasy Stamp Set. I stamped flowers using shades of pink: Frosty Pink, Cotton Candy, Coral Berry and Ruby Red from the Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. For the leaves I used Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen.
The Thank You sentiment comes from the new Heartfelt Sentiments stamp set.
To create my second card I used another beautiful floral set called Sketchy Floral. It’s a large whimsical floral image, great for any projects, cards or scrapbook layouts. I simply stamped it with Forest Glades ink and used Altenew green markers to colour some of the images.
To finish my card I stamped the hello sentiment in black.
And for my last card I used the new Indoor Garden Stamp Set. Love this clean and modern stamp set with a variety of potted plants with a beautiful painted look! Perfect for CAS cards! Here's what I came up with using this set.
I stamped a few different plant images in a row and for my sentiment I again used the sentiment from the Sketchy Floral set.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Kymona Tracey!
Here is the full line up for the blog hop today.

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm Release
Hello Everyone and welcome to the Altenew Build-A-Flower Release! Every month on the 15th Altenew has a special release of a new Build-A-Flower set and this month it's a beautiful set called Build-A-Flower: Coral Charm. This will only be available as a set with coordinating die and you can purchase it at the Altenew online store.
To celebrate this special release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to THREE lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win!
Here's my card, I created using the new set. I stamped the floral images at the bottom of my card using a masking technique. First, I stamped all the outline images with black ink, then I used the Cotton Candy, Purple Wine, Forest Glades and Evergreen Crisp Dye Inks to stamp the other layers. I also used some markers to colour the small flowers.
I can't wait to see what you create with this beautiful set!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a nice weekend!
