Jane’s Doodles Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Jane’s Doodles Release Blog Hop! If you hoped here from Joy you are on the right track! If you missed any hops on the way here is the hop order:

--> Aga <--

Today our DT and amazing guest designers are showing the newest addition to the Jane’s Doodles collection. 3 new stamp sets and one of them is designed by our talented DT girl Mariana! How awesome is that?! She will be designing stamps for Jane’s Doodles and her first set is called “Easter Time”. The other two sets are called “You’re a hoot!” and “Tooth Fairy Klara” and with every purchase of the Tooth Fairy set, $1 dollar will be donated to a fabulous cause Caylin's Cure A Fundraiser for Hope (this also applies to the digi image).

Now onto my cards!  Unfortunately my stamps haven't arrived yet and I wasn't able to make a card using those new released sets, so instead I created a few cards using digital images. Here’s my hybrid Easter set, just clean and simple:

I used a graphic program to invert and colour the images:

Don't forget to leave a comment on every blog along the way for a chance to win all three new stamp sets released today! Your next stop is Courtney, I can't wait to see what she came up with today!

Thanks for hopping by and have a great weekend!

Runway Inspired Challenge #7

It’s been such a long time since I created/posted anything. I seem to have lost my mojo, has anyone seen it? I would like it back! Lol! Anyway, I’m happy it’s Tuesday and time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! If you are like me looking for an inspiration check out this amazing outfit from Anna Sui:

And here is what I came up with:

To create this faux letterpress look I coloured the raised side of an embossing folder (wood grain by Tim Holtz) with red ink and embossed it on pink cardstock. The flower element by BG was printed in blue and covered with glossy accents although it's not easy to see it in the photo.

This week’s sponsor is Simon Says Stamp and there’s $15 gift certificate to the lucky winner.  Make sure you pop over to the Runway Inspired blog to play along!  Here is some fabulous inspiration from the rest of the DT girls:

Runway Inspired Challenge #6

Hello and happy Tuesday! I must say it is amazing how fast time flies! It's time for another challenge at the Runway Inspired blog. This next challenge takes inspiration from the 2012 Spring Collection by Maxime Simoens:

When I saw the picture, I knew I needed to use a grid on my card! I simply printed it out on my cardstock, and then I stamped leaves from Delicate Leaf Clusters by Hero Arts in denim blue. The flower is cut from a strip of Webster’s Pages Bloomers Fabric Flowers and the sentiment is by Janes Doodles.

Thank You

The Pretty Peonies set by Jane’s Doodles is one of my go-to stamp sets for making a quick card. I just love these flowers and this time I stamped the peony on tissue paper (I always wanted to try this!) and then coloured with pink:

Thank You

Thanks for popping by today!

Tuesday Trigger: Fancy Schmancy

Hi! I'm quickly popping in with a card that was inspired by the colours of the Moxie Fab Fancy Schmancy Tuesday Trigger:

A Spicy Perspective

As soon as I saw this sweet picture I immediately thought of the cakes from Party Time stamp set by Jane’s Doodles:

Happy Birthday

Thank you for stopping by today!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Runaway Inspired Challenge #5

Hello! It’s the first Tuesday of the month, which means we're back with another Runway Inspired Challenge. Check out the inspiration look we have for you this time:

Isn't it beautiful? I love fresh light feel of this outfit given by the pale blue colour and delicate fabrics. I wanted to create something quite soft, feminine and clean that looks almost exactly like it and here's my interpretation:
