For today’s blog hop I created a card using the newly released Zero-Waste Leaf Pattern Die. It’s a great cover die with artistically arranged branches that we could fit within an A2 card. Not only will you get eight branches of leaves and some confetti, but you can also use the negative piece as a backdrop on your project!

thank you

I started by die cutting my pattern out of white cardstock and used blending brushes and inks to colour them in. I used green shades from Spring Bouquet Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle and blue from Tranquility Crisp Dye Ink Oval Bundle. I also added some black ink splatters to finish the look. Next, I used the negative piece of the pattern that was remaining as my template to place all the die cuts.

thank you

To finish my card off, I added some scraps of patterned paper (from Verdant Walk 6x6 Paper Pack) and my sentiment from Label Love Stamp Set.

That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is April Leithner!

  14. I love, love, love your ink blending on your leaves! I think it would be difficult to add color to the white card stock after cutting your leaves but I did read about how to make that easier so I will try that in the future. Your card design is beautiful!
