For today’s blog hop I created two simple cards featuring press/foil plates from the December 2024 Release collection. My first card features Essential Textures: Terrazzo Press Plate/Foil Plate and hot foil technique.
I combined the Hot Foil Roll - Gold (Mirror) with Crafty Necessities: Cloudy Sky Cardstock and added pink, purple, green, and yellow paint splatters from the Altenew Artists' Gouache Set to create this fun, shiny, and colourful background.
To finish my card, I added the 2025 numbers created with the Bold Numerals Die Set and Crafty Necessities: Purple Wine Cardstock, along with the "hello" sentiment from the Lovely Flowers Press Plates/Foil Plates.
For my second card, I used the Lovely Flowers Press Plates/Foil Plates and applied Cloud White Pigment Ink to the plate before pressing it onto Cloudy Sky Cardstock panel. I love the delicate and elegant impression of the flowers.
To finish the card, I added some white paint splatters using Titanium White Artists' Gouache and sentiments created with the hot foil technique using Hot Foil Roll - Gold (Mirror).
That’s it for me, your next stop is Jaycee Gaspar.
You can find the full line up below. Thank you for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
The Terrazzo really intrigues me . . . I want to try it in lots of colors.
ReplyDeleteAga, I think using the white ink on the press plates and impressing it into colored cardstock was a wonderful idea! I'm definitely going to try that with my BetterPress. I love that Altenew has press plates and hope they keep coming out with more designs for the BetterPress. Thanks for the inspiration!
