Altenew Celebrating Parents Card Drive 2025 Blog Hop + Giveaway

As Mother's Day and Father's Day draw near, it can be a challenging time for seniors in nursing homes or shelters. Our goal is to ensure that these individuals feel cherished, appreciated, and respected. That's why Altenew created the Celebrating Parents Card Drive (click the link for more info).

For today’s blog hop, I created a quick and simple card featuring some products from the March 2025 Release collection.



As a background, I used a square panel of Crafty Necessities: Nimbus Cardstock, embossed with the Royal Brocade 3D Embossing Folder. I added Dark Night Fresh Dye Ink to the inside of the embossing folder before running it through the die-cutting machine for a letterpress effect.



As a focal point I used a small part of blossom branch created with Craft-A-Flower: Cherry Blossom Branch Layering Die Set and Olive Fresh Dye Ink. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Thinking of You Stamp Set, stamped in black ink.
