Hi everyone! Yesterday, Studio Calico revealed their January kits. They all were already available during an exclusive pre-sale for subscribers only and they are now available to everyone for purchase in the Studio Calico store! Be aware that they often sell out quickly, so get yours today to avoid disappointment!
Today, I’m sharing a few cards I made using the Far Far Away main card kit and stamp add-on.
I'm starting out with this one I created using a stamp set from the main kit. I simply added a pink Neocolor II Crayon for some colour, and some gold glitter for a little extra sparkle!
For my second card I used the emboss resist technique and watercolour paints. All stamps used here are from the Cube Stamp and Die Set.
I really love how versatile this set is! You can use it in so many ways, not only for backgrounds, but as accents as well. So many possibilities! I used Gelatos to create this watercoloured background and two veneer butterflies from the main kit to embellish my next card.
I had so much fun playing with this month's kit and I hope you feel inspired to check out these new products! You can also pop over to the Studio Calico gallery for more inspiration and ideas from the Creative Team!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Studio Calico December Reveal
Hi everyone! Yesterday, Studio Calico revealed their December kits. They all were already available during an exclusive pre-sale for subscribers only and they are now available to everyone for purchase in the Studio Calico store! Be aware that they often sell out quickly, so get yours today to avoid disappointment!
Today, I’m sharing a few cards I made using the Park Ave. main card kit and stamp add-ons.
For my first card I used a stamp set that comes with the kit. I stamped the skyline in blue and grey shades. To add more interest to my card I did draw the outlines around the images and some birds:
Using a sun stamp from the stamp set that comes with the main kit, I created this clean and simple hello card. I simply inked up the back of the stamp and stamped the solid circles. I used green alpha stickers for the sentiment:
For my next card, I used the Terrarium set by Life.Love.Paper which is one of this month's add-on stamp sets:
My last card is definitely inspired by the recent class by Ashley Goldberg. I used inks to watercolour my background, added gold glitter and a stamp from the Terrarium set. To create my sentiment I used green alpha stickers that I coloured with black pen:
I had so much fun playing with this month's kit and I hope you feel inspired to check out these new products! You can also pop over to the Studio Calico gallery for more inspiration and ideas from the Creative Team!

hello & hohoho!
One of my favourite things to do recently is stamping patterned backgrounds. Today, I thought I'd share two cards I made the other day with Jane’s Doodles stamp sets.
Here is the first card I created using the Doodle Flowers II and the Hello Friend sets. I stamped the images with grey ink, and watercoloured:
The second card is created using the Warm Wishes set. I simply stamped the images onto grey cardstock with clear embossing ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added some red details to finish it off:

I finished off my card by adding a “hello” die cut from Studio Calico and lots of gold glitter for an extra sparkle and shine.
I hope you're inspired to play along with us! Make sure to visit the Runway Inspired Challenge blog for all the details on how to enter and what you can win!

Studio Calico: paint.plan.play with Ashley Goldberg
For the Altenew blog hop, please scroll down or click HERE.
Hi there! I’m just popping in to give you a heads up about an upcoming class by Ashley Goldberg that I am really excited about! I'm a huge fan of Ashley G's unique work so I was really thrilled when I saw this class and I knew I had to take it!
Here's more information about the class:
We've all experienced it – the frustration of sitting in front of a blank page for hours and still coming up empty. Well, we've got the remedy: cutting-edge artist Ashley Goldberg. Ashley’s come wielding her brush and paints to invite you into Paint.Plan.Play, an “art” class designed for scrapbookers. Grab the paints and brushes you've been collecting and let Ashley help you tap into the creativity you've got hiding inside yourself.
During the first half of Paint.Plan.Play, you’ll explore core painting techniques Ashley uses every day, then you will transition into putting those new skills to use in several projects. With Ashley’s expert guidance, you will learn how to take control of color, pattern, and text by using paint, collage, and various other mediums to add allure to all your paper crafting projects – from personally designed journal layouts to Project Life spreads. '
Paint.Plan.Play will begin on November 1st. If you are interested, you can sign up HERE!
Hope to see you there! I personally can’t wait to start!

My two first cards are created with another stunning stamp set designed by 1canoe2 for Studio Calico! Such a fun set isn't it?!
For my next card I also used some embellishments from the main kit and added stamped leaves that I fussy cut. I again added in lots of misting and spritzing here and there:
