Altenew November Release Blog Hop
Hello everyone and welcome to the Altenew November Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Svitlana's blog, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, go back to Altenew blog and start from there, as you won't want to miss anything!
There are 10 new fabulous stamp sets and 6 types of 8.5" x 11" paper being released today and they are now available for purchase at the Altenew online store.
To celebrate this release, Altenew will draw three lucky winners who will each receive a $30 gift certificate to their online store. Just leave a comment on the Altenew blog by Friday, November 20, 11:59 pm EST for a chance to win.
But that's not all! In addition, one winner will be chosen from the comments left on this blog post and will receive a $30 gift certificate!
Now onto my projects. My first card features the Beautiful Lady set. I wanted to keep it monochromatic so I stamped flowers in black and coloured them very lightly.
For my next project I used beautiful flowers from the Oriental Orchid set to create simple place cards. First I created blank cards from cut and folded white cardstock. I painted them with a gold glitter and added names created with a label maker. Then I stamped flowers in black, fussy cut them and attached them to my place cards.
That’s it for me, your next stop on the hop is Aimes and I can't wait to see what she came up with today!
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Studio Calico July Reveal
Hi everyone! I'm bit late with my reveal projects this month, but as they say, better late than never, right? Last week Studio Calico revealed their July kits along with launching a new website. If you are not familiar with all the changes that have taken place check out the Studio Calico blog for more details.
Today, I’m sharing a few cards I made using the Fairground main card kit and add-ons.
My first card is created with a stamp set from the main kit. I stamped images with black and added some colour with solid stamps:
My next card is super quick and easy to create. I fussy cut some squares from the patterned paper pad and added a sentiment made with the Blackout alpha dies.
I love this month’s washi tape add-on. I used it to create a background for my last card. To finish it off I added a sentiment created with the Hey Girl craft die and gold stars stickers.
I had so much fun playing with this month's kit and I hope you feel inspired to check out these new products! You can also pop over to the Studio Calico gallery for more inspiration and ideas from the Creative Team!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Runway Inspired Challenge #85
Hi everyone! It’s time for the new Runway Inspired Challenge and this week our challenge is sponsored by Winnie&Walter! Check out the inspiration look:
What inspired me this time was a pop of color peeking out from under a dark coat. Here’s what I came up with:
I used here floral images from the beautiful In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya set along with the "hugs" die cut. I accented some of the elements with a bit of Glossy Accents for some dimension and shine!
I hope you're inspired to play along with us! Make sure to visit the Runway Inspired Challenge blog for all the details on how to enter and what you can win!

Studio Calico June Reveal
Hi everyone! Time definitely flies! I can’t believe June is almost here! Yesterday, Studio Calico revealed their June kits. They all were already available during an exclusive pre-sale for subscribers only and they are now available to everyone for purchase in the Studio Calico store! Be aware that they often sell out quickly, so get yours today to avoid disappointment!
Today, I’m sharing a few cards I made using the Galileo Main Card kit and add-ons.
For my first two cards I used an adorable stamp set from the main kit. The bunny, ice creams and gorgeous script sentiments - I am so in love with these stamps!
For this card I used the ice cream scopes to create a colourful background.
My last card is created with the Party Animals set by Life.Love.Paper (which also includes coordinating dies!). How cute are these party animals?! I created some fun pattern and added a touch of watercolours, allowing the ink to run a little.
All cards and envelopes I used here are from the Card Basics add-on.
I had so much fun playing with this month's kit and I hope you feel inspired to check out these new products! You can also pop over to the Studio Calico gallery for more inspiration and ideas from the Creative Team!

There are two new beautiful, floral stamp sets being spotlighted today. Jane is giving away both to one lucky winner, so be sure to leave comments on each blog along the hop for a chance to win:
Today I have two very similar cards to share since I wasn't sure which one I prefer more. Both are created using a new set called "Mom". For my first card I stamped flowers in purple ink onto a blue cardstock and used a blue marker to colour them:

#NSDSC15
Last Saturday was a National Scrapbooking Day and we have been having lots of challenges over at Studio Calico blog. Today I’m popping in to share my take on challenge #05 which is to use your favourite Studio Calico stamp anywhere.
I wanted to make something different than a card and decided to create a stamped poster for my daughter’s bedroom.
It’s not a scrapbooking layout but it is definitely bigger compared to what I used to work with. First I printed out my sentence directly onto white cardstock and then I stamped a floral background using stamps from the Mother’s Day stamp set.
Hope you feel inspired to join in the fun! To be entered to win a prize from the Studio Calico simply post your project(s) in the Studio Calico Gallery by May 10th and add the tag #NSDSC5 in the description. Challenges may be combined - just add tags with right numbers in your description. Winners will be posted on Monday, May 11th!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Studio Calico May Reveal
Hi everyone! Yesterday, Studio Calico revealed their May kits. They all were already available during an exclusive pre-sale for subscribers only and they are now available to everyone for purchase in the Studio Calico store! Be aware that they often sell out quickly, so get yours today to avoid disappointment!
Today, I’m sharing a few cards I made using the Carolina Moon main card kit and add-ons.
To create a background for my first card I used a small stamp from the set that comes with the main card kit. I stamped it in green, one by one to create a circular pattern. Then I just added this awesome cork DAD die cut:
For my next card I created a background using a leaf stamp again from the set that comes with the main card kit. The sentiment and number dies are from the Birthday Bear stamp and die set. I used the negative space from die cutting the numbers and replaced it with numbers cut from a red cardstock. I inlaid the red numbers into the negative space but I adhered them inside my card.:
My last card is also created with stamps from the main card kit set and the original inspiration for it was a kaleidoscope tin, one of my favourite childhood toy (a little tube with mirrors containing loose, coloured objects that show up as beautiful symmetrical patterns as the tube is rotated). I stamped the images with Emerald City, Mint Hint, Something Blue, Flamingo and Lemon Zest ink, then I finished my card off with a star shape die cut, a flair badge from the kit and a bit of white thread.
I hope you feel inspired to check out these new products! You can also pop over to the Studio Calico gallery for more inspiration and ideas from the Creative Team!
